HP Inc. is actively enhancing its manufacturing strategies and customer experience initiatives to better serve its North American market.
Manufacturing Shift to the U.S. and Other Regions
In response to global trade dynamics and to mitigate tariff impacts, HP is significantly altering its production strategy. By the end of fiscal year 2025 (October 31), the company plans to have more than 90% of its products sold in North America manufactured outside of China.
This shift includes increasing production within the United States, as well as expanding operations in countries such as Mexico, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Enhancing Customer Experience
HP is also focusing on improving customer satisfaction through various initiatives:
- HP Workforce Experience Platform: This AI-enabled digital platform aims to optimize employee productivity and reduce IT-related issues. It provides IT managers with enhanced tools, data, and insights to ensure employees remain connected and productive.
- Customer Success Transformation: HP is aligning global roles and processes to increase customer focus. By bringing customer success managers closer together and standardizing practices, the company seeks to enhance customer satisfaction and streamline operations.
These efforts reflect HP’s commitment to adapting its manufacturing footprint and customer engagement strategies to better meet the needs of its North American customers.
