NVIDIA has announced plans to establish the NVIDIA Accelerated Quantum Research Center (NVAQC) in Boston, aiming to advance quantum computing by integrating quantum hardware with AI supercomputers. The center will collaborate with prominent institutions such as Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), as well as quantum technology companies including Quantinuum, Quantum Machines, and QuEra Computing.
This initiative signifies NVIDIA’s commitment to addressing challenges in quantum computing, such as qubit noise and the development of practical quantum processors.
